What Genre? Studio is located at Salaiya Road, Bhopal, "The City Of Lakes', away from the Rush of the city life. It's a beautiful farmhouse studio 5 rooms and two massive halls located in the middle of a greenfield. Here at What Genre? Studios we try to connect with music and arts in the most spiritual way possible. We don't rush with ideas of the art. We let it sink in us through meditative state of mind.

A humble creative development organization, Bridging the gap between Art and Application.The movement from being just an artist to becoming a real artist by way of recording, publishing and promoting is what we facilitate. That's our art, The Art Of Motion. We believe that every artist should have his/her shot.

AudioGears

We use industry standard AKG C214, SM-58/57 for Vocals and Instruments respectively.

 

We use Pyle Audio PDKM 7 for our drum recordings and proper acoustically treated rooms for vocals and drums separately.

 

We have Premier Olympic Series Drum-set, Zildjan (Planet Z) and Sabian (Solar) Cymbals as our back-up supply for artists.

 

We use KRK 5th Generation  8" Studio Monitors for mixing and mastering.

 

We used KRK KNS8400 as reference hearing.

 

We keep an original Fender Stratocaster (Single Coil), Ibanez GRG170DX with Humbucker Pick Ups,SR500L Ibanez Brown Mahogany 4 String Bass Guitar and  Arturia KeyLabs essential 61 MIDI keyboard.

We use Log Pro X, Cubase, FL Studios as our DAWs.

​

We use Focusrite OctoPre Mk II as our Pre-amps.
